Back when people used to have offices it was common to have a question and get up and go for a wander looking for someone to ask. On the way the questioner would marshal their thoughts. By the time they reached the target the answer would have revealed itself and the only thing worth saying would be "Sorry, I figured it out on the way here."

I have no office. I need to more actively marshal my many thoughts. If these thoughts stir someone else's pot because they are visible, that's great.

Near the beginning of this century I wrote a paper called The Computer as Tool: From Interaction To Augmentation that outlines what I've been trying to do to make the world make sense and the world more sensible.

I have a cv.
